ABOUT ME
My personal background
I grew up in New Jersey and moved to Montgomery County after graduating from American University in Washington, DC. I hold a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies with a minor in Justice, Law, and Society, and earned a Graduate Certificate in Public Administration in 2025 to further support my community. I value Montgomery County’s diversity and welcoming atmosphere. My background includes leadership in the Democratic Party, experience as a television producer, and work as a nonprofit professional and a volunteer in cancer research and fundraising. These experiences have shown me that the current healthcare system does not adequately serve those in need, motivating me to pursue meaningful change.
My professional experience
In 2020, I shifted careers to support the Democratic Party. Motivated by the election’s importance, I used my organizing and communication skills to help elect Democrats and address ongoing threats to basic rights and democracy.

I entered the Democratic Party as an entry-level organizer in a competitive Arlington, Virginia, school board race and advanced to Deputy Campaign Manager, where I helped elect the board’s only professional educator. Serving two cycles as a Field Organizer with New Virginia Majority, I was recognized as the top performer in canvassing, phone banking, and texting, consistently exceeding outreach targets.

To further develop my skills, I completed the Maryland People's Leadership Institute (MPLI) through Progressive Maryland in 2021.

Leaders invited me to return for a third cycle in Virginia, but I chose to join the Maryland Democratic Party as a Regional Organizer. In this role, I recruited, trained, and managed a team of volunteers, then advanced to Western Maryland Regional Organizing Director for the 2022 coordinated campaign, where I oversaw organizing efforts across several counties. While at MDDems, I spoke at a rally for Wes Moore and met President Biden.

After working with MDDems, I joined the Maryland General Assembly as a Legislative Director in the House of Delegates, where I support a Democratic Delegate by providing constituent services and assisting Marylanders seeking help with state or federal programs. I have successfully resolved complex unemployment benefits issues and have worked on cases involving locating individuals abducted by ICE. Since 2023, I have volunteered as a precinct leader with the District 15 Caucus, helping increase precinct volunteer engagement, and served on the 2024 Ballot Questions Advisory Committee, contributing research and recommendations. These experiences equip me to represent District 15 on the MCDCC.
