ABOUT ME

In 2020, I shifted from nonprofits and television production to support the Democratic Party. Aware of the importance of the 2020 election, I used my organizing and communication skills to help elect Democrats. Since 2016, I have observed ongoing threats to basic rights and continued challenges to democracy.

I began with the Democratic Party as an entry-level organizer in a competitive Arlington, Virginia, school board race and was promoted to Deputy Campaign Manager. Our team elected the board’s only professional educator. I then served two cycles as a Field Organizer with New Virginia Majority, consistently ranking as the top performer in canvassing, phone banking, and texting.

I was invited to return for a third cycle in Virginia, but chose to join the Maryland Democratic Party. I began as a Regional Organizer and advanced to Western Maryland Regional Organizing Director for the 2022 coordinated campaign. While with MDDems, I spoke at a rally for Wes Moore and met President Biden.

After working with MDDems, I joined the Maryland General Assembly as a Legislative Director in the House of Delegates. I support a Democratic Delegate by providing constituent services and assisting Marylanders seeking help with state or federal programs. Since 2024, I have volunteered as a precinct leader with the District 15 Caucus and served on the 2024 Ballot Questions Advisory Committee. My experience makes me a strong candidate to represent District 15 on the MCDCC.
